At the Pivot Foundation, we believe that the voices of people living on the margins matter. When given the opportunity to tell their stories and advocate for their communities, people experiencing poverty and social exclusion can become agents of change that resonate throughout society. That is why we support programs, projects and registered non-profit organizations that work directly with people who have lived experience with complex issues related to homelessness, addiction, discrimination and marginalization.
“We believe that poverty and social exclusion are not inevitable. We are building a community of supporters committed to shifting society toward greater justice, fairness and compassion.” – Peter Mortifee, Chair
